I learned something else, too - since my own heritage is that of the Western European descended culture that had been elevated, it is my task to work to undo the harm that has been done to so many.

God moves in some incredibly mysterious ways - I was called to listen that day. 

it is time to listen, without offense or fear, to these voices whose lived experience will expand all our witness to God's creation.

God is good, and God is in control, so be kind, look upon another with compassion, and when someone makes a choice you would not, grieve as appropriate, yes, but also look to see what good they are trying to lift up in this world.

God is with us, God is in control, even if we might feel out of control. Trust in God; God is speaking to us through searching scientists, discerning doctors, nurturing nurses, and healing hearts and hands.

God gives us the strength for caution; God gives us the strength for this love.

Save us from our folly, O God
Save us from ourselves

Whom to turn to when the seas boil and rage?
when the path becomes strewn with boulders?

When eyes are clouded and the unknown presses in,
when the world is mad and strange?

What is the most significant element of worship for you? What is the one thing that, if it was not in the worship service, would make worship lose significant meaning? Pause for a moment and identify the right answer for you before you continue reading.

Our perspective is suspect, but God's Point of View is omniscient. Relax your focus and let God direct your hand.

…we all need to know that we matter, that we are missed when we aren't able to attend church services, and that someone cares enough to reach out with a simple phone call.

Why did the Israelites need manna & quail to eat? When God gives directions for sacrifices after the tent of meeting, there are many kinds of animals named to sacrifice as well as grain offerings so it appears the people had both kids of food.

Once you have cleaned your house, what purpose do you put it to? How do you actively use the space you have prepared so that evil spirit cannot move back in?

Embrace Intentionality --> See God in new faces --> Live without fear --> Work for God's Justice
